if storytelling is the creative demonstration of truth, then immortality is but ubiquity in time.

In Vonnegut’s imaginary religion of Bokonon there is a phrase customarily said to the shy, which roughly translates as: It is not possible to make a mistake. When someone seems particularly uncomfortable socially I think it would be nice to think this really hard at them. I would appreciate it, at least.
Then again, the philosophical basis for this religion, like all of them, are ‘harmless’ lies intended to make life easier. So maybe not. J wrote ‘there are no mistakes’ and asked me what I thought of that. (T had replied, haha, You are mistaken.) I would like to think no, but am obviously not entirely convinced. But I certainly don’t want to start labeling things right and wrong, so I suppose I ought to deny the possibility of a mistake from the start, just to avoid the inevitable path of that logic.

-a balloon falls in the room
-a golden ring falls into a silver basin
-a blue-eyed boy blinks, waiting for an answer
the sound of it kinda stays with you through the years or lifetimes.
Heidegger proposes that mere anxiety is at the source of everything.
